While in Egypt, the Hebrews, because of Joseph’s favor were held in high esteem. But when Joseph dies, and new Pharaohs come on the scene, all of that changes. Their honor status that they once enjoyed, has now been reduced to bondage and servitude. The next 400 years, the children of Israel are in a full fledged crisis. Life is hard, and each day becomes more and more intolerable. They thought God had completely forgotten and forsaken them. Little did they know that God had a plan for their deliverance.
