Breaking Cycles

In 1972 Billy Preston made a song about “Will It Go Round In Circles.” Going around in circles can be exhausting. You’re spinning around but not going anywhere. Similarly, a cycle can be a repetitive motion or pattern that leaves you in a rut. Ruts can lead to lost focus, lost vision, lost confidence, lost energy and ultimate lost intimacy with God. Isaiah 40 offers renewed hope to all who’s race has become weary.

29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who HOPE in the LORD will RENEW their STRENGTH.
